CONTACT Author of 'Still Seeing Red' - Bert Bell Bert's introduction to Thirds was in 1936, when he was taken to the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden, by an uncle, who proceeded to further cement this relationship the following season, by presenting him with his first Season ticket - priced 5/- (25p). Since that time Bert has followed the clubs fortunes and attended well over 800 home and away matches in the process, until their demise in 1967. His interest has since continued and Bert is accepted in football circles as an authority on Third Lanark Athletic Club.
