Third Lanark v Aberdeen, Scottish Cup 1st Round 1949

Team Photograph 1961/62 season. Note the three rebels on the balcony Matt Gray, Dave Hilley and Alex Harley. They were not allowed to sit with the others until they signed contracts for the new season. All three were holding out for better terms.

Jimmy Carrabine, Third Lanark legend and Scottish International right back, became club manager in 1946. This photograph shows Jimmy being toasted by former team mates including Jimmy Mason at a dinner to celebrate his appointment in the Grosvenor Hotel, Glasgow.
 This photograph shows a young Prince Phillip being introduced to Jimmy Mason of Thirds at the Wembley international against England in 1948. George Aitken,Willie Waddell are also in this shot.
